I take on the role of a full time travel consultant and complete apprentice work regularly. Making bookings, doing admin and learning about new destinations and suppliers daily.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the apprenticeship and think it is a great way of entering the travel industry.

Lots of skills including technology and systems, customer service skills, confidence and knowledge of the world.

It is well organised and I have made friends along the way.

I feel the dept of which the apprenticeship delves into all things travel makes me feel much more confident in my role than I think I would if I hadn't have completed the apprenticeship.

Yes, there are multiple opportunities to attend sports events, supplier events and ship visits.

I would say to apply if you have a passion for travel and like talking to the public. It is a benefit to be outgoing and be willing to take part in new experiences and work well as a team.
