Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The first week was online training. For the following three weeks we were placed with teams to do client work. We worked with the team to learn how to do different tasks and support them in the audit.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
We worked up to eventually being delegated tasks and left to work on them on our own. It was our responsibility to ask for help if we needed it.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture is great, you feel like you can talk to, or ask questions of anyone, from people who graduated the previous year up to partners. The office is very casual and friendly, and it's nice to be able to wear jeans and a t shirt to work.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed the placement a lot. I wish there had been a little more structure to the work we were doing but the relationships built with other interns made the experience very enjoyable.

What advice would you give to others applying to PwC
Just be enthusiastic about the company and the line of service you are applying too. They don't expect you to have any technical knowledge already. Only a couple of the interns had studied accounting before.
