It was well structured and had ample time to complete my apprenticeship

Plenty of support is out there for us especially from peers and line managers.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

As the training team are ex-technicians themselves, the support is effective and to the point.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It’s given me the broader vision and physical experience required to understand and be effective in my primary role.

Countless. I am a member of the cross country running team and there’s many opportunities to attend trade events.

Would you recommend RAF to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It has provided me with the building blocks to really succeed at life and boosted my confidence ten fold. I’ve had so many experiences over seas and have many stories to tell. Overall, I think it’s a fantastic thing to do for younger generations.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to RAF?
Get involved with clubs and social events. Volunteer for any adventure training and force development trips.
