I am in the audit team and worked across the Not for Profit and Corporate teams. I work directly with clients and colleagues to support the audit of financial statements.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love the role I work in and feel supported extremely well by those I work with directly day to day. I work with a range of people and our teams shift frequently giving me chances to learn from different approaches and levels.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have gained invaluable personal skills such as communication, including both written and verbal. I have improved my confidence in social and working settings, taking on new leadership roles within the junior group in the office.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured. I get great exposure to a range of jobs, clients and circumstances. The programme allows me to gain experience in a number of different sectors understanding the way companies operate.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received a lot of support from Crowe throughout my time with them, from internal training programmes which run throughout the apprenticeship (supporting our development) to additional training courses I personally request and mentoring as I progress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support throughout the exam process from the initial courses, through to exam prep initially. This then extends to any further training I require ahead of exams. The online resources remain available after exams and these are very useful to refer back to if any questions or queries arise after exam periods.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training I receive sets me up to have exceptional knowledge and skills to perform the role I am employed in. It gives me chances to improve my skills as well my technical knowledge.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we often socials and attend networking activities both internally and externally. This is often organised by team members but is also supported by our internal marketing teams.

Why?
Crowe UK is a great place to work, the managers and senior audit staff are extremely good to work with. I would highly recommend Crowe as a place to work as the internal training available is superb.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Crowe UK?
Be honest about what you want to achieve. Crowe can support people through various training schemes in different teams. The size of the firm allows for varied and enjoyable exposure to different sectors, helping to build practical knowledge and personal skills.
