Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5

Community engagement
Safeguarding
Gathering intelligence
Supporting colleagues in front line policing
Dealing with minor offences
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The program has been enjoyable, engaging and support levels are there for anyone struggling.
There is a lot to learn, and I think it would be beneficial if there were more knowledge checks

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Confidence in confrontational situations and communication skills which support in de-escalation

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
This is a fairly new programme, but it is very well organised and the class work is structured in a way which is easy to understand for learners.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have recently undergone a neuro diversity assessment, and following this, I have been issued work place adjustments which have been very supportive in my role and apprenticeship work. Colleagues running and delivering the classes for the apprenticeship are extremely understanding and supportive with anything learners struggle with
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Learning providers are always on hand if there is any support needed, and are quick to support and point you in the right direction should you need it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I think the programme is very well structured in a way which makes it easy to understand why it is delivered in the way it is to support on the job. If there is anything I would like to see or change it would potentially be longer in class, with more knowledge checks, especially around legislation and powers.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
None
