Assisting teams working on client work as well as training often to get up to speed with the work.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
My team was very busy during my internship, however even with that they made a massive effort to find me work and take time to show me how it could be done and trusting me with the work that would be used in the audit.

Make the effort to get network and socialise when you first begin and don't worry if you don't understand it at first
