Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on intern led projects, while also working with my assigned team to both shadow them, and work on projects they have assigned me. This for example can include making a new security resource that tells a client how to secure a website properly.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I have to be responsible for working in the intern group projects, and working on the projects my team at the time give me. But these aren't being applied to the real world, so I'm not responsible for any work that the bank actually requires.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
So far my communication skills have continued to be developed through the multiple group projects I have had with fellow interns. My professionalism has also continued to improve as I better understand how the bank, and the teams I have been placed in, want to work. I now have also started gaining skills in cyber security, better understanding how it's applied in the real world.

I have regular calls with my line manager and buddy, and plenty on drop in calls available for the projects I work on. These also have mentors, that ensure we're being kept on the right track.

Very positive. So far every interaction has been from people looking to support me and my learning, and provide the best experience possible.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have very much enjoyed myself so far. I have had lots of learning opportunities so far, and felt like I've really gotten the chance to improve my skills. There has also been tons of socializing options available to us, making the interns feel really connected.
