My role involved digital training courses with monthly assessments and helping out the sales team with day to day in person tasks.

I really enjoyed every part of my programme.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learned lots of new social skills like presenting, prospecting, handling rejection, developing knowledge on CRM systems and understanding the hospitality industry.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

As I was part of the first wave of apprentices, the day to day structure could have been slightly better as I had to rely on my colleagues to give me work. The training side was well structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received all the support I needed from my employer, I could not recommend them more.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My qualifications definitely help me a lot in my role, but I found the first hand experience of being in trade to be more beneficial.
