Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I look after a number of accounts of pubs/bars/restaurants across the north west. I am upselling, protecting and investing into our brands in these accounts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I loved the programme. Everyone was super supportive and helpful.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt basic life skills that will travel across any industry such as Networking, using my initiative etc. I have also learnt a number of sales skills such as objection handling, closing, relationship building.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I was the 2nd year of apprenticeships within the company. Although, things can be adapted throughout the years, I was very impressed by the structure for apprentices. I think a final improvement would be to educate all employees, apprentices or not, on the scheme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I couldn't have asked for any more support than I received.

I believe it has taught me many sales skills useful in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Since starting my role, I have attended Aintree Ladies day, aswell as many other race days. I have done quad biking and clay pigeon shooting with my team and many nights away and a trip to edinburgh.
