Merchandising Assistant in Beauty, helped to support the merchandiser in Fragrance to manage stock. Raised orders, allocated stock to branches and raised rebates are just some of the day to day jobs we had. Used a lot of data when it came to look at brand performance and formulate orders
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme has been good for increasing my confidence when dealing with data and improved my awareness and knowledge

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Multiverse did not structure the programme hugely well and they did not communicate with our internal teams when it came to peak periods

The support from my employer was good, my manager always ensured I had the time to complete my work
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support from the provider was good however it did become a little hard when my coach from the provider kept changing

It has certainly improved my confidence but as to day to day performance in role I would say it hasn't helped as much as I was hoping

Why?
I love working for them, they are extremely open to flexible work which means they get the best out of me. Furthermore, the discount, partner hotels and learning subsidy's all come at a great advantage. So far too, all my managers have been extremely supportive in helping with my development.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to John Lewis Partnership?
If possible speak to members on the team already. Make sure you read into the role as much as possible for the technical questions.
