I was given a lot of responsibility - running and managing my own projects, investigating issues and personally presenting them to directors

Excel skills have been developed as well as other applications within Microsoft Office. Communication and team working skills also had to be developed. We were also provided extensive training on other skills

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
My team and manager were great, the culture of the organisation was fantastic and far exceeded my expectations of working in the finance sector. I would definitely be committed to barclays going forward

What advice would you give to others applying to Barclays
make sure to have done extensive research around the organisation before interviewing, and do a lot of practice assessments. Be yourself, and show how you align with the corporate values
