Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My day to day is very much dependent on how I manage my time. I do lots of work with multiple stakeholders in the UK, Western Europe, META and occasionally the US. This could be working on ELR newsletters, updating HR partners, data presentation and analysis, creating and sending out communications, team leading, working with the mental health team and more. I have frequent meetings with my team and others but I mainly work independently.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Lots of responsibility. The role is very independent and if you are not a self-starter you aren't likely to do well. You need a lot of initiative to meet deadlines and do the work well - especially if you want to do better than average and stand out.
You can also ask for more leadership responsibilities if that is something you want to improve. Intel is great at giving you lots of opportunities to lead&improve.
