Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Responsible for delivering operational excellence and clearly understanding supply, demand, revenue needs of customers. Supporting adaption/evolution of customer business models to implement efficient and executable supply chains. Using data analytics to drive recommendations for the corporation and ensuring a close handle of sales strategies.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Intel gives placement students a huge amount of responsibility during their placement and really respect the students. I was completing work that was challenging and engaging.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Incredibly amount of support. You get given a line manger/mentor who you can go to with every day issues or development conversations (really just there to support you in any way they can). Manger was also incredibly supportive and helped me source fun projects to do. Rest of the team/company were also incredibly helpful throughout my time there.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Really good culture with lots of different committees and activities to get involved with. Lot of opportunity to meet people outside of your core role and get involved with giving back to the community. Hybrid work has meant some days in office are a little quiet but most days are amazing with lot of people to speak to and learn from.
