Yes, I was in charge of major projects during my course of internship with the company where I contributed to the business value of the wider team which gave me a sense of confidence and responsibility, interns were treated as important as full-time employees at the company which was a refreshing experience and meant that we were given responsibility and accountability of the work we did as interns. So, it was a meaningful and satisfying experience overall.

Yes, I have gained professional skills needed in the workplace and this internship enabled me to gain practical real-world experience of working in a global organization.
Communication, networking, presentation skills are some of the soft skills I learnt alongside learning technical skills on the job.
I also developed my technical skillset, learned a lot about Intel products and technologies and promoted them during my internship working in the sales department, the year in industry has definitely made me more ready for the workplace after graduation.

In terms of support and guidance, I had a on-the-job coach throughout the course of my internship which was really beneficial as they helped me build a lot of confidence and regular mentoring/coaching which helped me quite a lot.
There were times where I wasn't sure of what I was supposed to do, but with their help the process became easier and I got the idea and what was expected of me in the role and in the team.

Company culture was a big thing at Intel, from values such as, One Intel, Quality, Inclusion, Customer-first, Integrity and Fearless Innovation.
I had first-hand experiences of these values come to life during my time as an intern as I was able to see the implementation of these in the everyday tasks we did, where everyone's opinions mattered, and the customers we dealt with were our first priority and we always kept on improving based on customer feedback.

I enjoyed my placement very much, I think it has been the best decision to do a placement as now returning back to university for my final year, it has given me so much confidence, better time-management skills, social networking skills and communication skills which I wouldn't have gotten if it wasn't for this internship.
I gained a wide professional network and gained a lot of friends who were working as interns in other teams.
