Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I operate as a supply chain and commercial consultant, whereby I work closely with a client embedded within one of their delivery teams.
My day to day is varied and covers tasks such as: commercial and supply chain governance, artefact drafting, negotiations and providing oversight and best practice
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The programme is quite coursework heavy with one learning module released each week.
If the course could contain more hands on application and slightly less theory, I feel it would be more enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt additional time management skills and the fundamentals to management and leadership.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The course is structured well. The tutors are active and provide a rigorous schedule for myself to follow and adhere to.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
MACE are actively encouraging in this area. As an employer they value what an apprenticeship offers to the apprentice and the reciprocal benefits that are realised.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Corndell offer robust support and guidance in terms of both tutor interactions and e-learning
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The course is designed for early career managers, which I am. Although some of the content has been learned through previous education (degree, MCIPS) there is value in relearning as well as the opportunity to learn additional skills. All will benefit me in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, many and regionally diverse.
