Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Dead electrical work, Glanding, terminating as well as containment installation. Cable pulling, panel installation, installing junction boxes, instruments, heaters, lighting, etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Interesting work, also variety is good and keeps things interesting.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learned new skills from either training at bridges or from supervisors on site.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Working usually 5 weeks on site and then a week at bridges Training academy with an instructor from bath college. Structure is good and keeps things interesting.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Regular reviews with line manager and instructor to make sure everything is going well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Meetings with instructor and an assessor during each block release period to make sure everything is going well or if I want to change anything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Learning the technical details and science behind what I'm going on site, slowly working towards being able to safely do live work at the end of my apprenticeship.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
