My role at my firm is to produce VAT returns every month, to do yearly accounts and to do tax returns.

I enjoy it a lot it .
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt a lot of new skills such as being able to use and operate well on software. I have become much better with excel and have a much better understanding of accountancy after getting this job.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It's structured well I know what I am doing well before I am meant to be doing it so I can prepare. This makes it a lot easier for exams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support of my employer. I have been trained and know if I am stuck that I could ask anyone that I worked with for help and they would support me and show me the correct method.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot. The teachers are very nice and easy to ask for help. You can ask in class for further support on something you are stuck on and they will help you with it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel as if it does but not as much as it should. I think this is more of a fault with AAT resources and actual topics that they teach. A lot of the methods are the old fashioned way and hasn't modernised with the times.
