As an Assistant Management Accountant, I prepare month-end accounts, assist in budgeting and audits, and reconcile balance sheets. Daily tasks involve preparing journal entries, analysing financial data, and generating reports.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm thoroughly enjoying my apprenticeship with Ryman. My manager and the learning team have been incredibly supportive, providing me with the resources and guidance I need to further develop my skills.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis. I also learned to create clear, tailored reports for stakeholders and gained proficiency in accounting software

The apprenticeship program is well organised and structured, with study time provided during work hours. The department is supportive and facilitates the development of new skills learned through the apprenticeship.

The training provider is good, online classes good, support from tutors outside of classes. Able to ask questions about topics covered. Plus a glossary of past students questions to review
