Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am involved in the day to day preparation of accounts, tax returns and audits, all of which require a high level of analytical, prioritisation and attention to detail skills to carry out and manage my workload effectively.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme and all the different things that are involved. My first exam being the preparation of financial accounts, linked to my day to day work and it was interesting to see the link firsthand by being in practice.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my interpersonal skills and communication as well as my confidence by being involved in speaking to clients and by ensuring a quality customer service.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is extremely well structured as the many different parts involved, the exams, portfolio work and professional discussion is all clear as to how it all contributes to the qualification, as well as the work on a day to day basis.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has been amazing in supporting my career and my progression. Everyone in my team is helpful when I have a question and even going through the work step by step if needed. Once learnt right the first time, the knowledge sticks with you.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider and the college help by teaching me about all the exams involved, and giving extra revision materials when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The knowledge from my training provider about my qualification, helps me implement the knowledge into work and develop the right skills and behaviours related to to performing in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We are involved in many charitable events, as well as quarterly social events firm wide, a fantasy football league and an annual awards ceremony, in which I won an award for The Best Apprentice 2024.
