Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am responsible for writing mission systems functional requirement documents and managing SPRs for mission systems.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the work I do and feel well supported in my role. Sometimes the support from college is not as good as it could be which makes the programme less enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my skills in communicating with different people and running meetings across mission systems, this involves both presenting and taking minutes. I have also been able to develop new skills such as writing requirements.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme is well organised from when we started training, completed our placements and then moved into exit role. However, there have been occasions where things have been left to the last minute.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my exit role team and early careers. I have been able to do a range of different training courses in my exit role and have had a lot of support from early careers for my EPA.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I am able to request feedback for assignments, the feedback is sometimes quite slow in being returned however I have always found it useful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
I think skills such as researching and writing long reports are transferrable to my job role but I do not use the theory I have used in college in my job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, there are networks that you can sign up for depending on the team you are in and social activities are organised.
