I currently work in Waltham forest council as a licensing assistant in the private sector housing and licensing team. I have been completing a Project Management apprenticeship, with blue lions academy which i have been enjoying and have also previously completed a business admin L3 apprenticeship which i had passed with a double distinction back in 2022.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to London Borough of Waltham Forest?
I would advise people to give things a go !
Try new opportunities, look into things you wouldnt think of, put yourself out there and learn new things.
This is what i did when i started in Waltham forest, my apprenticeship and job role within business support in 2021 allowed me to be in the position i am today, all because i tried something new and gave things a go!
This allowed me to be confident, brave, communicative and proud and has allowed me to develop and look into my career further.
I have been in the finance team and completed a business Admin apprenticeship with a double distinction, i then moved teams and work within the PSH&L Team as a licensing assistant where i am completing a project management apprenticeship which is coming to an end soon and i have recently been successful in gaining a secondment opportunity within project management as a project support officer.
