Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I produce accounts and assist in performing audits for various different companies. For accounts preparations, I have full responsibility for the work that I do, and I am given the freedom to do my own work, asking for help when necessary. On audits, it is generally more structured as there is more to do, and I work with multiple other colleagues to complete the tasks.

I have learnt many new skills specific to accountancy, as well as some more general skills which I feel I have developed, such as communication and confidence.

Clear and easy to follow structure in place which is reinforced by regular training seminars to remind everyone of the proper way to complete certain tasks.

A lot of support available with many colleagues I can ask for help and managers regularly check in to see how the work is progressing.
