I audit financial statements and provide assurance over the representation of financial statements to provide key stakeholders with a high level of assurance over the correctness of the financial statements.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy accounting, the course has allowed me to expand my knowledge to increasingly better levels during each year of the course, I have improved my confidence during this time as DJH has provided me the platform to believe in myself and attempt new things.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have massively developed my communication skills through my integration into DJH, the office has provided me space to grow personally and professionally. I have also learnt analytical skills which has challenged me to review information in new ways and ensure the validity of such information.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

During my onboarding process I recieved a well thought out plan which laid out when I would be sitting every exam from the start to the end of my programme. This was to be fulfilled by Kaplan. It provided time in between exams to address any failed exams. It was great.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive complete support from DJH, they provide the fundamentals such as study time and extra paid days and then give me the support around my exams to ensure I am best placed to complete my exams.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive complete support, all my study days are paid time off, this is provided by Kaplan, I also get each day off before my exam and the day off of my exam
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The exams and leaning are very relevant to my role and allow me to apply this each day. I am able to progress my work in line with my knowledge which is helping me to perform better
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I play padel with some work colleagues, I also get involved in fun runs with work and go to any social events.

Dude to the great supportive atmosphere in our office. There is help from any direction which allows you to grow as a person and feel more comfortable asking questions.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DJH?
Be ready to put in hard work to pass exams alongside work. Be prepared to ask questions and learn each day. Be ready to keep on learning even towards the end of your qualification.
