We have a lot of support through our University with the opportunity to have extra learning hours if required for whatever reason. They are also easily contactable through email etc.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It definitely helps give me more basic knowledge of how to go about doing different things and helps me understand what is going on better in meetings etc. However I am not always doing specifically project management work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Through the apprenticeship we have had opportunities to go to social events such as Christmas ball and other events. We also go for a weeks long residential in Owtward Bound involving team building and doing outdoor activities.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
BAE has so many different opportunities through many different qualifications. BAE Systems also has a large volume of apprentices in the business which shows how well they treat the apprentices. They also pay a competitive salary which increases each year, which isn't very common.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Do your research into the business when applying, do a lot of planning as otherwise you wont stand out as BAE get thousands of applications every year. Choose something you are passionate about, as if you are doing a degree apprenticeship, it is 5 years long, which is a long time to do something that you arent passionate about.
