my day to day role involves pulling and creating sets of monthly data reports for various individuals across the business, creating a collating presentation decks around different insights such as air search or passenger bookings and also working on different wider projects.

I have learned how to use various data sites including Cognos, Qliksense and AWS. Moreover, i have significantly advanced my excel skills throughout the placement as this is something we use pretty much all of the time in the job role. i have also advanced my networking and presentation skills through various meetings and group presentations

A large amount was provided from the start with a good intern panel team, however the support reduced a little due to managers changing roles and the head of the interns leaving half way through the internship - the support was still there but was sometimes a little patchy

Positive and modern - individuals are encouraged to hot desk to ensure they are collaborating around the office and o not form and sit with the same groups. interns are encouraged to get involved in conversations and projects with the view that we bring fresh ideas and not that we slow them down and are useless

i can honestly say that i thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, the independence and responsibility we were given ultimately has prepared us for corporate life in the future and the culture is very open and positive. moreover, the CSR initiative is brilliant with interns taking full charge of events and planning and also the chosen charities to fundraise for
