Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Work in quality control - come in and pick up analytical tests such as HPLC, TLC, dissolution and Karl Fischer titrations
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Has it's ups and downs - year 1 and 2 were slow and progressions was limited. year 3 is getting better

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes - analytical testing skills as well as workplace skills such as presentation and speaking skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very structured academically and we have 2 modules per term which helps keep work/uni and life balance
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Support is available, again year 1 and 2 weren't the best but lots of support in year 3. Not much support regarding thinking about post-apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Lots of support, lecturers are always helping and also a skills coach is provided who we have 4 mandatory catch ups with a year but they're always available to reach out to.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Since I work in a QC environment apart from spectroscopy and instrumental analysis not much is transferable
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are opportunities to get involved it however with work and uni it can be hard to attend these
