Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am currently working with the Data Analytics department assisting the Business Analysts. This involves planning out work for the developers in the team and making sure we are prioritising business needs as well as internal team needs.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the fact that I am getting to experince the supply chain from start to finish by rotating into different teams, as well as visiting different areas of the business

I have definitely learnt lots of new skills including: project management skills, communication skills, time management skills, etc

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Being a new program for the business it does feel a like there's a lot of trial and error involved, some communication is lacking and we struggle to get answers for future queries, however I can see that there are lots of exciting ideas and effort being put into the programme and it is great to be a part of that.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my line manager, having 1-2-1s every week, as well as being paired with a buddy.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We meet monthly and am able to email regularly if there are any concerns. Overall good communication.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

For me it has helped a lot as I am doing rotations, so whilst I have been in my current team my apprenticeship has covered areas that I don't necessarily get to touch on day to day
