Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I complete jobs for clients that consists of reconciling accounts and creating end of financial year accounts including the statement of profit or loss and the income statement. I also prepare opening balances aswell as comparing sets of accounts. My job can vary day to day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme i am on due to the new skills i have been able to learn and develop. I think there is a range of differentation between jobs and each client is different with different figures to show. I would recommend the apprenticeship path in order to gain learnign skills aswell as receive a salary.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills such as double entry and more mathmatical skills such as reconciling figures. I have also learnt and improved on communication skills within the workplace and to other stakeholders. My literacy skills have also been developed through email writing and explanations for figures.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship is well structured in the form of i have my training provider constantly in contact with me regarding my study and progression. The work side of my apprenticeship i am being helped and mentored each day by my piers in order for me to learn and put this into practice at work as well as study.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive adequate support from my employer through asking questions when i am struggling to understand a concept. My piers will help me and check on me throughut the day to check how much work i have and if i am ok with what to do.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i receive help from my training provider with lessons due to their being very good screen casts on the website to follow if i am struggling to understand. Teachers also offer to stay if needed and help you however when i asked for tutoring outside of study times they were unable to help with this.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think that putting what i learn into practice and in real time with accounts is helpful. The concepts in training are well explained and i do notice these aspects when i am working on accounts. This helps a lot to understand what i am doing and also why i am doing it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there is a lot of sporting events i am aware of mainly, my work sponsers a lot of events also which gets the teams involved.
