I am a Senior Accountant working for Larking Gowen. I'm responsible for a portfolio of clients, assisting them with compliance and advisory services. I also support and develop my colleagues.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme, learning new skills and developing myself both professionally and personally.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt more skills than I could list through my apprenticeship from starting as an 18 year old straight after completing my A levels to becoming a Senior Accountant and being responsible for a portfolio of clients.

My programme is very well organised and structured. I'm aware of my targets, deadlines and upcoming milestones.

There are a lot of extra-curricular activities at my workplace including multiple team social events and a couple yearly firm wide events which are great fun. We are encouraged to attend professional networking events to develop the firm and us as accountants.
