Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role as an Audit Trainee is to help assist my team in the audit of small to large sized companies. I work with my team & our clients very closely to ensure a clean and efficient audit.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Great, I really enjoyed it. Took a little while to balance everything but once you get the ang of it, it's smooth sailing (relatively).

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have developed my analytical skills massively. Being able to think on the spot and feel less pressure when answering difficult questions. Additionally has improved my social interactions with unfamiliar people.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Really well structured, knew what to send and who to and on what days. No complaints.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Fair amount. Although most of the support comes from your peers. Like a buddy system.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
A lot. We are provided with a tutor who looks after us. We have monthly calls to catch-up.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Difficult to say as we will never know. But given I wasn't on an apprenticeship for Level 3, I didn't notice a massive change. Depends on the person entirely.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes there are. I get involved in every event we offer out of work hours. Crazy gold, sports day, kayaking etc...
