My role is in looking into reporting & automations. Essentially it means making sure they work, are optimised & are built in accordance with business needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

At the moment, it has been very positive. I have enjoyed trying to tie in business needs with new information that im learning. I enjoy having the time to upskill myself

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt many transferable skills into my role that im conintuing to develop. They include technical skils such as enhanced undersatnding of excel formulas.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organised and structured. There a diarised dates in the calender throughout the programme, with details consistent throughout. There is a clear end point assessment and a pathway to getting to the final assessment end point.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is aware that I am doing the course and are comitted to me completing the course to the best of my ability. I have the time necessary to dedicate to my apprenticeship and this has not been comprised to date. I've also been told that concessions can be made from my team to work around my apprenticeship, which is a positive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have monthly diarised check in calls to touch base, review and ask questions. We have multiple workshops throughout where we can apply our learnings in practice also.
The only negative I would say is that it is all online learning which sometimes can be challenging, if I want an immediate question answered from my designated success coach. However, there is dedicated help lines to support with any techincal & non technical issues people might have

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have already implemented some of my learnings into my role. I would say I have improved my techincal skills slightly which has enhanced my presentational skills. There is still some ways to go, although I'm still early on in my apprenticeship journey.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are. For instance I play in our weekly football social events. However, there could maybe be more.

Yes
Why?
I have had positive experiences thus far working for TJX. There's a lot of ways they cater to my needs/requirements e.g. hybrid working and flexible working hours. The people I have come across so far have been kind to me also
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TJX Europe?
Make sure to do your research. For instance, research about the company, what they do, what they offer, peoples reviews, etc.
