Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
testing features based upon requirements set out within User Stories, writing test cases, raising bugs and querying any details I am not sure about with either Developers or Business Analysts
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
enjoying it a decent bit, everyone at my place of work has been friendly and helpful. Been a good experience overall and hoping to further improve my skills across the course of the programme as well as hopefully staying on afterwards

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Learned how to use Azure DevOps to view user stories, raise bugs and execute tests from test cases I've written, developed more of an eye for detail as well as professional skills and understanding of how to behave in a professional environment

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
training provider's learning structure took some time to adjust to however organisation on the employer side has been well structured - no complaints on that so far
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
well supported by my line manager, regularly have meetings to check on progress and wellbeing as well as being well supported by the Development team that I work within
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Support is mainly left to my line manager, semi-regular catch-ups with the training provider in which they talk about the course and any upcoming or outstanding work.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Gives me a bit of a better understanding of my role however unsure if it provides a massive benefit directly to my job role outside of learning about different types of testing and roles within development teams
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
decent amount of extra-curricular activities within work however not many that directly appeal to me therefore not attended a lot of them
