Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
As an apprentice, I shadow experienced workers regularly to gain knowledge on the processes when doing a specific job. Usually, I get some hands on experience once the skilled person I'm working with thinks I'm capable of completing part of the job after I watched them do it.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I feel the work I complete is very interesting, and there is a lot to learn off all the skilled workers within the company.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many skills which are crucial for my job. The main skills I have learnt are: Soldering and cabling as apprentices are trained to a high standard on this. I have also developed my teamwork as I am constantly put in situations where I have to use teamwork.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
There is a clear structure in the programme, making it fairly easy to follow and stay on track with most tasks that are necessary.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
If I need support, I know exactly who to contact, and I fully trust that I would receive the most appropriate and best support if I needed it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I wouldn't say the training provider doesn't supply good support, however it is not up to the standard that MBDA apprentices should receive.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It helps a bit in my role, as I learn general stuff however, the things I learn at work are very specific to MBDA, where as the training provider cannot teach us things more specific to my role at MBDA.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are alot of extra-curricular activities to take part in. I know football is one, and there are many charity events including different things.
