I raise orders using a forecast, control stock levels in branches, work closely with suppliers and our warehouse to ensure that we have enough stock in the right place at the right time.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot. I am finding that I'm improving far more rapidly at my job and I have become more confident in my own ability as I continue through my apprenticeship course.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have been developing my forecasting and budgeting skills, improving my competency with excel and google sheets and learning how to use them to my advantage in my role.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure is well organised thanks to my team being supportive and allowing me to be flexible. This has made it much easier to work my apprenticeship into my weekly work schedule.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my team, allowing me to give my maximum amount of effort to my apprenticeship as well as being supported in continuing my job.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It is helping a lot. I am gaining a broader sense of the impact of my job role. This is allowing me to excel in my job and this is allowing me to continuously improve.

There are societies that I can get involved in varying from sports to music and creativity. I am able to get involved in any society that is set up.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to John Lewis Partnership?
Make sure you familiarise yourself with the mission statement of the partnership and the partnership values. The partnership is owned by all of us so it is important to understand the role we all play in that.
