Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Apprentice jointer doing a portfolio for the joints needed to begin my end point assessment
Fault finding helping dig out with diggers drivers and jointing cables to fix faults and get customers back on supply
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It's enjoyable but sometimes frustrating for all apprentices

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yeah lots of new skills came from school so developing life skills as well communication skills as well as the trade itself with a bit of IT using new sites and devices

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I would say it could be better people don't have enough understanding of how it is on site and how we are organised they expect it to he plain sailing but it's not
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Again could be more in my opinion often its other apprentices looking out for you when it should be your manager
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Doing my training was good there very helpful but sometimes someone would get annoyed or maybe having a bad day and would forget that I was training
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It's the role itself without the training I wouldn't be able to do what i do
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a few meet up just socially apart from that I don't know if anymore. Around

Why?
I have recommended a younger friend to join as it is a good apprenticeship with lots of Benefits and leading yo a good career
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SSE?
Make sure to say what they want to hear follow there rules and if it's not safe we don't do it
