Thoroughly enjoying every aspect of the programme, embracing the learning and developing life skills, confidence, new skills in electrical knowledge, safety and experience, embracing new challenges.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed new electrical skills, basic foundation and understanding of electrical generation and distribution, broader understanding of health and safety and the confidence, safety licence, if its not safe. Developed new life skills.

Feel supported in every aspect, Deport - understanding, extremely knowledgeable and experienced colleagues, teams from previous years too giving invaluable advice and support. Training - First class trainers, experienced, extremely knowledgeable. Management are always a phone/email away for extra needed support and regular reviews
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

First class training from experienced, knowledgeable, and understanding trainers. Good support network and knowing where to go for extra support and help if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Massively, the basic understanding of electricity and how it works and the network. Confidence, knowledge, understanding, training and experience. Good quality training and trainers, theoretical knowledge. To treat electricity safely and to keeping safe.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a depot whatsapp group and we regularly check in with each other, a very close team network.
