Project management - managing deliverables and customer expectations in order to reach a desired end goal. Using intricate techniques and systems tin order to make delivery as smooth and as efficient as possible
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I would say the programme has a lot of opportunities and challenges, with that brings enjoyment due to always being occupied and having to test my intellectual capacity to navigate through challenging obstacles that i encounter on a day to day.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme contains good opportunities for feedback as well as many chances to engage with the tutors and to have check ins and gain feedback and advice, this level of consistency and also the ability to reach out with any concerns puts my mind at ease incase of any issues in the future
How much support do you receive from your employer?

BT Group offers high levels of support for my apprenticeship. Working in a team as well as projects allows me to have a hub manager who is there to support me with my goals and objectives such as passing my apprenticeship, and my project manager supports with exposing me to aspects of project management
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has done a great job at handing me extra resources such as tools and techniques to take away and test out such as charts that i can make myself. This allows me to understand concepts better and recite them in greater details when asked
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I would say learning concepts and being able to cross link what i have learned through theory and in my job has given me a great advantage in the workplace. This also allows me to test out project management techniques in the work place to try and see how effective they are in different situations
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At my work the apprentices were given the opportunity to have a working lunch with the CEO of BT Group and the CEO of BT Business which massively helped our social networking and got our foots in the door at BT. There is also a BT 5 a side football team which i participate in to bond

Why?
Great overall company to work for, they prioritise work life balance while also wanting what is best for you an your career development while benefitting the organization. Managers are open and honest and there for any concerns
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?
Show the willingness to learn, it's okay to know things going into an interview but they are looking for team working people and those that want to learn and grow with the company, and they want to hear how you can help to company and how the company will help you grow
