Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The role is good and involves in me working for NATS and managing projects and making sure engineers get sent out and the work gets completed. I also have workshops and apprenticeship work that I complete on the side such as my portfolio.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot, I think it's well structured and theres a good balance between actual work and apprenticeship work that needs to be completed to make sure that I get a good experience of all parts of a project.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Improved on my communication skills and my presentation skills which has helped me manage the projects. As well as this I've improved on being able to structure a project and know exactly what tasks are happening when.

The programme is well structured with a workshop every month which helps it follow a particular timeline and make sure the portfolio is ready and up to date.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive good support from my employer and constantly get shadowed to make sure i'm receiving the needed information which has helped me become more confident
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive good support and have constant calls throughout my apprenticeship with my skills coach to see how I'm doing and if there's anything I can work on
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps a lot as I'm being able to become more qualified on this role and understand what needs to be done in my role a lot more clearer and it helps me improve my knowledge.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are plenty of extra curricular events such as social events in the city and events where I can help present such as showing sixth formers what it's like to be an apprentice at BT
