Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Listening to insight talks from senior partners at the firm. Attending insight sessions presented by International Group Heads. Conducting a due diligence contract review. Undertaking legal research. Attending client calls and drafting attendance notes in follow up. Networking with the internal and wider teams. Social networking events, including internal and external dinners.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Highly interesting and insightful to understand how the wider practice groups all cooperate with one another. Enjoyed understanding how DLA Piper's international approach is utilised across the world for global clients, providing a seamless service.

Very friendly, everyone was extremely approachable. All partners were willing to take questions, give feedback, and assist in any way. Felt like I fit in and was inspired.
