Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to run the payroll for the smaller clients whilst having smaller jobs handed to me throughout each month to help out where I can.
I have a portfolio of clients whose payrolls are simple to complete to help me learn on the job.
I also carry out tasks handed to me by colleagues when needed.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying my programme a lot as it is challenging.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt how to manage my time better. My communication skills have also developed.
I have also developed lots of general payroll skills such as using and understanding spreadsheets.

It is well organised because it is split into weeks and I am able to find my own time in working hours to complete my tasks each week.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive as much support I need from my employer and I am given more than enough time to complete the work required.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

As much support as I need, whether that be by email or at a meeting.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps a lot. I find some of the information comes up when performing day to day tasks .

There are social activities throughout the company such as walks, social events etc.
