Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The role I take in my workplace is to deal with small accounting jobs, complete bookkeeping jobs and just help around with as much as i can while also learning to help with my study's.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme i am on, i have all the tools needed as well as support. The team i work with are great and are always offering there help when needed which is really useful.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my communication by talking to clients and sending emails out. I have also developed my mathematics skills by learning how to complete accruals, prepayments and just learning accounting terms such as nominal ledger and trial balance

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well organised as my studies line up with the work i am doing at my workplace which is good as it keeps me concentrated on one topic at a time and one aspect of my learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support I receive from my employer is great as he is always checking up on me to make sure i am understanding the jobs i am working on and any time i need help he is there to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support towards my qualifications by sitting down and talking about the pathway and the best ways to tackle problems i may come across.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification i am working on helps me perform better as the topics I am learning align with the work i am doing at my workplace so they both help with each other.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have monthly work get togethers where we go out for a meal or do a fun activity and have a work social every three months which is good as it helps build friendships instead of just having colleagues.

Would you recommend DJH to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The company offers you everything you need to pass exams and have a good start to your accounting career. They give you time off for college and exams and support you whenever needed.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DJH?
When applying to DJH i would say just make sure you be 100% yourself and when having the interview be calm but still professional and just show that you are confident in your abilities.
