Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Various different placements available for the apprentices, therefore every day can be different, some placements you can work with your hand some are strictly office based, I often work from computer and go on ship.

I have learnt many new skills during my time here, and have met many people in many different areas of the company

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organised however, I do wish there was more support in helping apprentices with finding their next placement, and the HNC course was from home which wasn't ideal.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

This could be improves, as the lectures are very busy with lots of students to cover and it is rare we get to meet them face to face.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I would say that most of it isn't very applicable to my role, however this can be said for almost any profession

Many opportunities here, a great place to have a career and a lot of support from such a well structured company
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
You must be very certain on the type of career you wish to have here, for example don't apply to be a welder when you really want to be a PM.
