3.2/5 - Structure and Support

Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Day to day tasks can differ though these all are to contribute on the successful delivery of the project or programme in which you are supporting. As an apprentice you are given high amounts of responsibility to deliver your responsibilities.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I massively enjoy the in work / on the job learning and development though we are massively let down by the university

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Many of my pre exisitng skills have been developed and my knowledge has massively increased in some key areas all of which are to allign with the PMDA standard.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The structure and organisation is poor, the apprenticeship can differ massively for each apprentice and acroos the organisation it is delivered in many diffferent ways and there is a lack of continuity across all of the apprentices. The university side is massively unstructured with a change in programme and provider and no appointed leads to shape the way in which this is delivered
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
the employer is a great support with skil coaches and line managers, as well as everyone else as they help/ support your development and have your best interests at heart
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
The university can be very contradicitng in what they teach and then what they decide to assess us on, with many changes taking place last minute.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The learning in uni should help to support the the work which is being done in placement, this doesnt always seem to apply as some of the content which is delivered has limited transferability and doesnt always relate to day to day work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
