I manage multiple programmes of work for many different public sector organisations to plan, respond and recovery from major incidents.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was really interesting but also very time consuming as I did not have a break between the different terms.

I learned so many new skills and new information around the private sector as I have only ever worked in the public sector. I also realised how my skills are transferable

the OU were amazing, I really enjoyed online and at home rather than having to go to a premises

It has helped me realise my transferable skills and given me a better understanding of the roles i perform such as strategic financial management - before the degree I never thought about it in such a structured way.

Ensure your values align with their values and just be yourself. There is a great mix of people who work there and they are so supportive and friendly
