Lining off and marking out the locations of things that attach to other components. using drawings, 3D models, coordinates and images.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as I learn alot of new skills since the job is quite specific

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, lots of skills about finding my way around the submarine and how to properly and accurately mark off and fit steelwork

The programme is very well organised and structured, I can very easily speak to the person I need to due to the structure and how organised it is.

I recieve as much support as I need at any given time from my employer.

My employer provides me with any training I need at any point and I can receive new training if I request it.

I perform much better thanks to my training provider as they provide the knowledge as to why I'm doing something a certain way or why other ways dont work as well

It is an interesting place to work and there is so many different jobs that are all interesting in their own way so you can always find something that you enjoy and are wanting to get better at
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Don't quit to early if you dont like what you're doing at the moment, there is so much room to sidestep in your role and have a look at other places or jobs entirely in the business that could be what youre looking for.
