Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work in IPS within the recruitment team and I manage our employer branding recruitment and marketing category as well as managing contingent labour for some areas of our business. This consists of managing suppliers, working through the procurement cycle, analysing costs, SRM and working with a large network of stakeholders.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy the program. I believe there has been a lot of support from all the teams I have been apart of and I think this has really helped me to progress and learn in my role. I am always offered to work on things that interest me with the appropriate support from my team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I have learned lots of skills linked to procurement. Primarily I would say stakeholder management, SRM, creating and understanding lots of different documentation, presentation skills and essentially all of CIPS' key KSBs that are requested for us to learn

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Overall the programme is quite well organised as we have understood the rotations we have to do however, it has always been quite unclear exactly how exiting will be. It would be better if we had a clear end date/start date for our final role and we have also not really had any indication of pay.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer across all avenues when it is required.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from the training provider there are lots of things in place to offer support and to also reach out when required
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I believe the qualification has largely helped in my role and is very applicable to my job and day to day work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are some but not loads however I have never taken too much time to have a good look at everything there could be to offer
