Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role changes on a 6 monthly basis. The apprenticeship consists of 4 placements which allow us to develop/ learn new skills as well as develop ones we already have. The placements consist of administration skills such as inputting data into systems, dealing with spreadsheets, dealing with finances, productions records/ documents as well as arranging/ partaking in meetings with internal/ external individuals.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme as I enjoy moving round each 6 months as it gives an opportunity to develop new sills and learn which working styles I enjoy. However I would prefer to be able to select the areas I would be placed in as I have specific interest.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have prior work experience so have developed some skills in the past such as working with external individuals, in a customer service setting. As well as developing IT skills such as using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I have also gained skills such as adaptability and professionalism.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think the programme is well structures and organised. However I would prefer to have been told more information at the beginning of the apprenticeship as it would have allowed time to gather questions.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from the company which are the training providers.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think since having past experience this has helped me more in terms of being in a professional setting as this is something I am used too. However I think the opportunity to move around in areas of the business are allowing me to perform better as I am gaining skills from each area.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I went tree planting with one of the placements and I also volunteered to take part in some apprentice open events for the new starts.

I think it is a reputable company and it has great opportunities for anyone who is wanting to start their career or develop a professional career they have already had

Show aptitude to learn and show the skills you have/ either want to develop.
