Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Drafting Legal advice to internal clients, working with lawyers and providing ad-hoc support with their tasks, reviewing and marking up contracts for projects Arup are working on.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I get involved in a wide range of tasks and am pushed with the work I carry out whilst still working at the level I am comfortable at which makes me really enjoy my programme.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a wide range of skills such as learning how to communicate points and ideas across to clients, legal drafting, being precise and thorough in my work, using initiative on a lot of the tasks I work on and being able to manage my workload.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well-organised however, but it is quite new for my team it could do with some improvements for the future as well as needing big improvements from my training provider.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer as they prioritise that i have the best support possible to feel the most comfortable here to progress at an efficient level.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support from my training provider is limited. It was very good for the first few months when I started, but it has taken a big decline since Christmas with me not being allocated coaches (whilst some students have), poor communication to do with coursework etc. My lessons that I have weekly however, are always productive and the tutors are very helpful in them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It makes a massive difference especially on with topics that are relevant to my work and ultimately the grades I get from the training provider can determine how well I do in my apprenticeship and my progression.
