Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

putiing deals on the system and making sure vendors have booked in on time. chasing vendors about issues that have been raised. helping out the team with workload and problems that arise. learning new and different systems. logistics champ keeps the bond with BA's and logistics strong

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

this program so far has been a great start into the world of work, gaining great experience with people across the business. i have been able to express creativity and improve my problem solving skills. i've enjoyed the constant communication with my team and superiors as well.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Excel skills have improved since starting as we use this system a lot. other systems like vespa and VPRs for annual and weekly sales has improved as now i understand the reports. meeting new people across the business has helped with people skills and being more confident.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

as we go to the fashion retail academy every 3 months there is a lot of downtime to get on with your assignments which sometimes can lack structure. after 4 weeks of training you are straight into the job which despite lacking structure is definitely better as learning on the job is vastly easier.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

we receive a lot of support from our employers who grant us plenty of opportunities across the business to pursue. any role is made possible for you if you try for it.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

my training provider is very supportive of us and gives us all the information we need to succeed.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

we gain a deeper understanding of the business and the retail market as a whole and can interact with others having intellectual coversations that are relevant to our ever-changing business.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

when we have charity events such as red nose day there are football teams and netaball teams we can be apart of and these carry on throughout the year if you want to be involved.
