Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my day to day role I am responsible for checking invoices uplaoded by suppliers through a portal, manually entering invoices through given PDF forms, aslo looking through exceptions and querires and also communicating professionaly with vendors about any issues they may be facing aslo any issues that occur from a TJX perspective

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy this programme because it has alowed me to develop my social skills to a more professional level when it comes to working with people inside and outside the company.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills throughout my role when it comes to using new platofrms and also learinging how to understand reports that we run to help us get a better understanding from a company perspective. I have also learnt how to use excel at a more professional level to help me withtin my role. I have developed my networking skills by meeting new people within and outside of the company.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is structured well as information provided is clear and relevent to our roles. we also get expereince in different areas of the company. Also we get a chance to learn new skills along the way.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

We get alot of support from our employer as they help us when we need it. we have montlhy catch ups with out apprenticship manager for them to be able to check in with us and also guide if we need help with something.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive alot of training and support from our tarinign provider BPP as they provide rescources in and out of class. they also have a hub where they have video lessons incase we miss soemthing in class. However, they dont provide us with any reminders for our skills and behaviours. I have told them in our 12 weekly coach review calls to provide reminders and have taken the feedback on board about this.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

They have provided me with secure and new knowladge about finance and accounting as a whole in particular. It has given me more knowladge which I can apply in my meetings.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have been tasked to plan a picnic in a park for operatrional accounting. we have also given tours arround the office for the new joiners to give them an isight as to what it is like to work at TJX.

They are a great company to work for as they are diverse and inclusive and are also supportive when it comes to issues. They have a professional work ethic.

To stand out when applying to TJX Europe, thoroughly research the company, tailor your application to highlight relevant skills, be authentic, prepare for interviews, network with current employees, and apply early.
Also, just be yourself.
